Mailbox Vandalism

Security KBH writes "On Tuesday Evening August 10,2010, a mailbox was
destroyed on Bridgette Way. Clay County Sheriff's investigation and US Postal Service conclude it appeared intentional but there have not been any other reported mailbox demolition in this neighborhood.

We put parts of the mailbox in storage off-premises in case we filed homeowners insurance claim and left the largest piece with cement base, in the yard and that part "went missing" later. I understand parts can be welded instead of a full replacement of 600.00 . and waiting 6 weeks. This is a federal offense with a large fine and 3 years imprisonment.
If this has happened to anyone else, please go ahead and report it . We don't want anyone imprisoned and accidents do happen, which is why people have insurance. Call 904-531 9180 and leave confidential message. small reward, thank you. Hibernia Resident- Harrell family"

Announcements bchase writes "Follow-up: Plantation Animal Hospital vet estimated this (precious) dog is about three years old, weighs 22 pounds, and is probably an American Eskimo. He is friendly, housebroken, great around our dog, and well-kept. We just cannot keep him. I have spent two days trying to find his owner to no avail. I put an ad in the Times-Union and have had only one call about him. He needs a good home soon. Thanks."
